Northern Mines Research Society – The NMRS have published their British Mining series of books since 1975, these excellent publications are available via their website, with a discount for members. Some of the earlier out of print editions are available as pdf downloads.
Peoples Collection Wales – Has a very good map feature with various overlays; modern OS map, aerial photography, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Edition 6 inch OS maps.
