Due to the ever increasing expense of providing suitable insurance cover (both public and employers) for the Trust and its Members (currently provided by the Council for British Archaeology), membership currently costs £12.00 per annum.

In addition to the insurance cover, you will also receive newsletters when time permits (we hope to publish two per year but this is not always possible).

As always for such a group running on meager funds, the Membership Secretary would be most grateful if you could pay your subs promptly, to avoid incurring additional costs for the Trust.

To comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) the Welsh Mines Preservation Trust (WMPT) will need all new members to agree to their personal details being kept on file by the WMPT. The only personal details we will keep are your name, address, telephone number(s) and email address if applicable. Your details will only ever be used by the Secretary (at present Graham Levins) for distribution of News Sheets, Newsletters etc. and the Membership Secretary (at present Peter White) for membership administration. They will be kept on secured computers. Your details have not been and will not be passed on to anyone or used for any other purpose. You will need to sign your agreement on the membership application form

To join the WMPT or renew your membership;

1) Download and print off a copy of the application form below (download button at the bottom of the document).

2) Complete all fields.

3) Post the completed form, enclosing a cheque made payable to ‘Welsh Mines Preservation Trust’, for the relevant amount to:
